Description
Ocean County is requesting qualifications from physicians capable of providing comprehensive forensic pathology services for the County Medical Examiner's Office. The selected physician or physicians must provide professional, citizen-friendly, on-call coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, comply with applicable federal, state, municipal, and county laws, and support written verification and medical-record inspections when requested. Applicants must demonstrate at least two years of forensic pathology experience and submit information about assigned personnel, education, relevant experience, ability to perform services promptly, professional licenses and certifications, available support staff, four professional references, and a certificate of insurance. Responses must also include all required Vendor Questionnaire documents. The contract term is one year beginning January 1, 2027, with project-specific contracts or purchase orders potentially issued for qualifying vendors.
