Description
The Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education is seeking qualified providers for a solar Power Purchase Agreement under which a roof-mounted photovoltaic system will generate electricity for six schools: Marlboro High School, Freehold Township High School, Manalapan High School, Howell High School, Colts Neck High School, and Freehold Borough High School. The base proposal must cover roofs with existing warranties at all schools except Freehold Borough High School; proposers may also submit alternate offers covering all roof sections. Proposals must include a Certificate of Consent of Surety and a bid bond, cashier’s check, or certified check equal to 10% of the total contract amount, capped at $20,000. The successful proposer must provide performance and payment bonds covering the full construction cost. Public works contractor registration, applicable affirmative-action and equal-employment compliance, and a valid New Jersey Business Registration Certificate are required.
