Description
The Illinois Power Agency is soliciting proposals for the procurement of Indexed Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from new utility-scale wind projects, new utility-scale solar projects, new brownfield site photovoltaic projects, and new hydropower projects at existing dams or modernized/retooled hydropower projects. The annual quantities to be procured are 837,984 RECs from wind or hydropower, 433,333 RECs from solar, and 296,271 RECs from brownfield photovoltaic projects. The procurement is part of the 2026 Long-Term Plan. Questions should be submitted via the procurement website's Ask a Question page.
