Description
The Olla Housing Authority is soliciting bids for a Minor Kitchen and Bath Repairs Project. Bids will be publicly opened on July 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM at 1125 Washington St. #108, Olla, Louisiana. Bidding documents are available from ACE Digital, LLC for a $50.00 deposit, which is refundable to bonafide prime bidders upon return of the documents in good condition within ten days after bid receipt. Subcontractors may also obtain documents with a partial deposit refund under similar conditions. Bidding documents will be available on or about June 17, 2026. This project requires contractors to be licensed in Louisiana with a major classification in Building Construction or Plumbing. A bid security of 5% of the total bid, in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $250.00 per day will apply for work not completed by the established completion date. Prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act must be paid. Bids will be accepted from contractors appropriately licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150, and bids cannot be withdrawn for 45 days after opening. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Olla Housing Authority office. Attendance is encouraged. The Olla Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and will incur no obligation until a contract is fully executed.
