Description
Hendry County is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of four owner-occupied single-family homes as part of the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Housing Rehabilitation Program. The projects include rehabilitation work at four distinct addresses: 1053 Texas Ave., Clewiston, FL; 804 W. Alverdez Ave., Clewiston, FL; 515 Fordson Ave., LaBelle, FL; and 4032 Rainbow Circle, LaBelle, FL. Bids can be submitted for one, multiple, or all of the rehabilitation projects, as each home constitutes a separate, independently awardable scope of work. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site walk-through is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026, starting at 9:00 A.M. at the Hendry County Housing Office Parking Lot, located at 1100 S. Olympia Street, Clewiston, Florida 33440. The conference will include walk-throughs of two homes in Clewiston, followed by two homes in LaBelle at 11:30 A.M. Attendance at all four home walk-throughs is required for any bidder intending to submit a bid. Hendry County encourages its approved contractors to employ W/MBE and Section 3 businesses and individuals.
