Description
University Medical Center of El Paso seeks one national healthcare group purchasing organization to provide core sourcing and contracting services and deliver measurable financial value. The scope includes a healthcare contracting portfolio; best-in-class pricing for commodities and pharmaceuticals; product-pricing and financial-impact analysis; administrative-fee sharebacks and rebate information; pharmacy services; supply-chain support; value-analysis tools; market intelligence; and support for local contracting flexibility. The selected GPO must also provide analytics and benchmarking, e-commerce and procure-to-pay technology, transaction management, item-master and catalog support, reporting, disaster and pandemic response, implementation planning, dedicated or onsite resources, subject-matter expertise, and ongoing relationship management. Proposals must address the detailed GPO questionnaire, market-basket pricing, implementation approach, qualifications, fees, references, and the requested UMC forms. The opportunity is intended to result in a single award.
