Description
El Paso Water Utilities is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for rehabilitation and maintenance of 12 existing groundwater wells. The work includes well video surveys, removal of fill, brushing, chemical treatment, liner installation, specific-capacity and pumping tests, disinfection, plugging, and related temporary discharge piping. The contractor must furnish and install vertical turbine pumps, motors, discharge heads, column and shaft assemblies, magnetic flow meters, soft starters or variable-frequency drives, electrical equipment, instrumentation, and SCADA connections, followed by installation, startup, testing, and commissioning. The solicitation also includes a $1,250,000 allowance for owner-approved urgent well repairs and pumping-system maintenance. Proposers must demonstrate substantial well-pump and well-rehabilitation experience, provide a Texas Well Pump Installer license, safety records, financial information, key-personnel resumes, a project approach, schedule of values, construction schedule, proposal security, insurance availability, and required certifications and participation documentation.
