Description
El Paso Water is soliciting construction bids for a potable water distribution system serving the Hillcrest Estates subdivision. The work includes approximately 24,448 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC pipe, 19,254 linear feet of 12-inch C900 PVC pipe, gate valves and bonnet boxes, HDPE casings, water-service stub-outs and yard lines, fire hydrants, a master meter and backflow assembly, a tapping sleeve and valve, trench safety, traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, site video documentation, excavation, backfill, compaction, and asphalt pavement removal and replacement. The project is estimated at $7,394,666.58 to $8,421,703.61 and requires substantial completion within 420 calendar days and final completion within 450 calendar days from commencement of contract time. Bidders must submit a signed bid form, original notarized bid security equal to 5 percent of the bid, a certificate of insurance availability, subcontractor and supplier information, required Service-Disabled Veteran participation or good-faith-effort documentation, Form 1295, a safety record, residency and non-divestment statements, and the applicable qualification and experience information. The successful bidder must furnish 100 percent performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award.
