Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management, is soliciting bids to establish a three-year, multi-vendor contract for military-style trifold cots and special-needs cots. Purchases will be made as needed for emergency preparedness, with no guaranteed quantities; the state estimates it may require up to 5,000 cots over the contract term. Products must meet the stated specifications, be new and appropriately packaged, and be delivered within 24 hours of a purchase order to a requested response or staging location in North Carolina. Pricing must include delivery and related charges. Bids must include product pricing, descriptive literature and specifications, manufacturer warranty information, and at least three customer references for the exact model offered. The response also requires the listed vendor forms and certifications, including financial-condition and worker-location information. Awards will be based on the lowest-priced responsive bids that meet specifications; multiple vendors may be awarded.
