Description
Bucks County is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of bedding and linen supplies on an as-needed, unit-cost basis. The specified products include washcloths, terry and bath towels, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, flat and fitted sheets, contour sheets, wheelchair underpads, an anti-suicide blanket, a polyester-core mattress, and related institutional textile products. Products must be new and first-class, and equivalent products may be proposed with identifying information, samples, cut sheets, or complete supporting documentation. The contract is scheduled to begin on or about December 15, 2026, for one year, with three additional one-year extension options. Purchase orders will be issued as needed, with delivery generally FOB destination to the ordering department. Bidders must provide two full-size samples for each item bid to each designated sample location; samples will be laundered during evaluation, and failure to submit samples will result in disqualification. The electronic response must include the completed bid table, questionnaire, signed agreement, units-to-case conversion file, and any required alternate-product literature. A certificate of insurance is required after award, and no bid or performance bond is required.
