Description
Cocke County Government is soliciting bids for furnishing and installing HVAC-related energy-conservation improvements at the Cocke County Courthouse, Fire Station, and Recreation Center. The work includes Energy Recovery Ventilation systems, Variable Frequency Drives, replacement and upsizing of heat pump HVAC units, and installation of heat pump HVAC units for the recreation center gymnasium. Bidders may submit pricing by facility, by item, or as a combined contract. Prices must include labor, materials, equipment, permits, disposal, startup, and commissioning. The bid must include completed bid forms and certifications, proof of Tennessee HVAC/mechanical licensure, a certificate of insurance, manufacturer cut sheets, a proposed project schedule, and at least three comparable commercial HVAC/ERV/controls references completed within the last five years. Federal-funding certifications and compliance requirements apply when triggered by the funding source. A payment bond of at least 25% of the contract price is required if the resulting public-works contract exceeds $100,000.
