Description
The City of Maryville, in partnership with the City of Alcoa and Blount County Government, seeks a turn-key provider for three aerial imagery acquisitions over a six-year period. Each cycle requires natural-color orthorectified imagery and four-cardinal-direction oblique imagery at a minimum three-inch ground sample distance, covering approximately 413 square miles of Blount County outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Services include aerial capture, photogrammetric processing, accuracy verification, metadata, and delivery of tiled imagery, offline GeoTIFF files, a countywide ECW mosaic, and statements of accuracy. The contractor must also provide a secure web-based imagery viewer, hosted WMS and/or WMTS imagery services, and integration with the customer's ESRI environment, including an ArcGIS Pro plugin. The proposal must address methodology, project management, timelines, qualifications, similar governmental engagements, technical support, pricing for each acquisition cycle, and optional value-added services such as enhanced resolution, independent accuracy verification, planimetric feature extraction, and GIS-layer overlays. The initial contract term is six years, with imagery capture scheduled for January 1 through March 15 of 2027, 2029, and 2031.
