Description
The Lower Loup Natural Resources District is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Pibel Lake Recreation Area Expansion trail project. The scope includes approximately 28,370 square feet of concrete trail, including 26,780 square feet of 5-inch-thick trail and 1,590 square feet of 7-inch-thick trail, plus a 144-foot composite boardwalk through an existing wetland. Additional work includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, tree removal, crushed-rock surfacing and base course, NDOT Type A rock riprap, earthwork, a 24-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert with two flared end sections, high-porosity silt fencing, straw wattles, temporary erosion control, permanent seeding, fertilizer, and hydromulch. Bids are unit-price bids for the aggregate project and must use the furnished Bid Form. The apparent successful bidder must later provide performance and payment bonds, insurance documentation, and required qualification information; a bid must include bid security of at least 5 percent of the maximum bid price.
