Description
Lincoln Electric System is seeking a contractor to remove an existing crushed-limestone area and construct a poured concrete slab at the Kevin Wailes Operations Center. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing concrete, subgrade repair, installation of reinforcing bar, welded wire mesh, expansion and control joints, joint sealant, barricades and traffic controls, concrete placement, broom finishing, curing, and related labor, supervision, equipment, and materials. The proposal sheet identifies approximately 9,300 square feet of new 9-inch concrete, with payment based on actual unit quantities and the final quantity subject to budget limits. The contractor must maintain one traffic lane in the main travel lanes unless otherwise approved, provide a tentative work schedule at least 48 hours before starting, complete the work no later than November 21, 2026, and engage a qualified testing agency for specified concrete testing and reporting. Bidders must submit the completed bid reply/signature page, proposal sheet, and Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. The successful bidder must execute the LES Construction Contract and provide a certificate of insurance and performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the contract price; these post-award requirements are not included in the submission packet below.
