Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is soliciting quotations for one universal ultra-low-temperature freezer and one Multifuge X4R Pro-MD cell-culture package with a TX-1000 rotor. The freezer must be upright, hold 2-inch boxes, provide 28.8 cubic feet of capacity, include a touchscreen display, temperature and event data logging, rear access ports, and audible and visual high- and low-temperature alarms. The centrifuge must be a refrigerated benchtop unit with a microprocessor controller, full-color touchscreen, brushless direct-drive system, included TX-1000 rotor, programmable timing, temperature control from -10°C to +40°C, maximum relative centrifugal force of 4,122 × g, and maximum speed of 4,200 rpm. Brand-name-or-equal products are acceptable, but quotations for equal products must include descriptive literature or other documentation demonstrating compliance with every salient characteristic. The procurement is a lowest-price-technically-acceptable, total small-business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price purchase order, with delivery required within 30 days after award. Vendors must quote all items.
