Description
Tri County Public School District is requesting proposals for a complete structured cabling installation supporting a building renovation and addition. The scope includes approximately 60 Category 6 drops, 120 Category 6A drops, and one new six-strand OS2 single-mode armored plenum-rated fiber run. The contractor must furnish and install cabling, terminations, fiber enclosures, racks and related hardware, labeling, firestopping, testing, documentation, and warranty support. Category 6A cabling will support access points, cameras, card access, video boards, and televisions; Category 6 cabling will support general data locations. The proposal must include detailed, itemized material and labor pricing, the vendor's E-Rate Form 498 ID (SPIN), and completion of the required pricing response form. Vendors must be E-Rate eligible, maintain an updated Form 473, attend the mandatory walkthrough, and identify any ineligible E-Rate products or services. The selected contractor will be responsible for installation during non-school hours or other agreed times, complete testing of all cabling and terminations, provide test results and run footage, and provide a written 15-year guarantee or warranty covering the installed cabling system.
