Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting a lump-sum bid for replacement and modification of the overhead garage door at Lincoln Fire and Rescue Station No. 13. Addendum 1 revises the drawings to show the operator on the south side of the door and clarifies that the specification calls for a jackshaft operator rather than a side-mounted trolley operator. The new insulated steel commercial overhead door is to match the existing masonry opening, approximately 20 feet 8 inches wide and 11 feet high, and the operator is to connect to the existing power circuit, with electrical modifications as required. The work also includes demolition, temporary construction protection, framing modifications, controls, safety devices, weatherstripping, flashing, siding, and associated repairs and cleanup. The contract is a single-prime, firm-fixed-price construction contract with an estimated value of $50,001 to $100,000 and an estimated three-month duration. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid; 100% performance and payment bonds are required upon award. Bidders must submit a lump-sum bid and complete the required electronic bid attributes and certifications, including the Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act certification and Employee Classification Act affidavit. The U.S. Citizenship Attestation Form is required at contract execution only for awarded vendors legally considered individuals or sole proprietors. The addendum must also be acknowledged in the electronic response.
