Description
Lincoln Electric System seeks a contractor to remove an existing dirt and concrete area and construct a replacement poured concrete slab at its Service Center. The work includes demolition and disposal, subgrade repair and preparation, grading and drainage, reinforcing bars, welded wire mesh, expansion and control joints, joint sealant, concrete placement, broom finishing, curing, traffic protection, cleanup, and required concrete testing. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials, maintain access through one traffic lane, and submit a tentative work schedule at least 48 hours before starting. Completion is required no later than November 30, 2026, with the bid sheet also identifying November 21, 2026, as a guaranteed-completion date question. Bidders must submit unit pricing for the concrete work, demolition/disposal and preparation, miscellaneous materials, and additional 9-inch concrete on a per-square-foot basis. Award will consider lowest total bid price, completion date, and stated exceptions. The successful bidder must execute the LES Construction Contract, provide compliant insurance, furnish separate performance and labor-and-material payment bonds each for at least the contract price, and complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form.
