Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting a contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, collection, hauling, recycling, and disposal of non-hazardous refuse. Services include furnishing and servicing refuse containers, preventing spillage, maintaining contractor-owned bins, complying with waste-diversion and organic-waste requirements, and providing annual diversion reports and receipts for organic-material processing. The work covers Donner Memorial State Park, Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Tahoe State Recreation Area, and other specified Lake Tahoe Sector locations. The solicitation includes detailed service schedules for containers ranging from 3 to 30 cubic yards, regular and additional pickups, storage rentals, and construction bins. All bins must be bear-resistant, with sturdy steel lids and locking mechanisms.
