Description
Glynn County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide solid waste and recycling collection services throughout the unincorporated mainland, St. Simons Island, and Sea Island areas. The scope includes weekly residential garbage collection; bulk goods, white goods, and yard debris pickup; biweekly curbside recycling; provision and maintenance of 95/96-gallon carts; two fee-based drop-off centers; and collection support for community cleanup and recycling events. The contractor must furnish all labor, vehicles, equipment, carts, customer service, scheduling, reporting, transportation, processing, and disposal services. The contract is anticipated to include a 12-month base period beginning July 1, 2027, with up to four one-year renewal options. Bids must be submitted electronically through the County's eProcurement Portal. The solicitation requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting, bid security for bids over $100,000, specified insurance, performance and payment bonds, and completion of the listed vendor questionnaire forms and supporting information.
