Description
The City of Mulberry is soliciting proposals for comprehensive residential solid waste services, including weekly automated curbside garbage collection, weekly curbside recycling collection, disposal and recycling processing, scheduled bulky-waste collection, and optional on-call yard-waste services. The contractor must provide and maintain approximately 13,100 residential carts, customer service and billing support under both City-billing and direct-billing models, missed-collection response, resident communications, route management, and service transition support. The scope also includes collection vehicles equipped with GPS and video systems, retention and production of service-verification records, a resident-facing vehicle-location application or web map, disposal and recycling reporting, approved transfer and processing facilities, limited City-facility and special-event services, and an annual metal or electronics recycling event. Proposals must include technical and cost proposals, qualifications and comparable municipal references, an operating approach, requested pricing, certifications and licenses, insurance forms, and the Contractor Affidavit and Agreement. The initial term is three years beginning January 1, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewal terms.
