Description
The State of Delaware is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of live trout for its pond and stream stocking program. The requirements include specified quantities of 10–12-inch and 14–17-inch rainbow trout, 11–13-inch brown trout, and trophy-sized rainbow trout weighing at least three pounds each. Deliveries are scheduled for one pond stocking date and nine stream stocking dates in 2027 at designated Delaware locations, including Tidbury Pond, Newton Pond, Rittenhouse Park, White Clay Creek State Park, Auburn Valley State Park, and Brandywine Creek State Park. Fish must be alive, disease-free, free of obvious malformations or lesions, and compliant with minimum catchable-size requirements. The vendor must provide confirmation of negative viral hemorrhagic septicemia testing and assist with unloading at designated locations. Bidders must submit pricing by pound, with delivery included, and comply with the required bid forms, references, subcontractor disclosures if applicable, and electronic pricing spreadsheet requirements.
