Description

Seattle City Light seeks consultant services to maintain, host, secure, and expand its existing Native Salmonid Conservation Facility database and Westslope Cutthroat Trout Spawning Matrix. The work includes database maintenance and debugging, data uploads and quality assurance, website and server support, development of post-spawning and offspring-monitoring features, genetic and demographic data integration, spawning and parentage tracking, and compatibility with partner systems such as WDFW's Molecular Genetics Lab and PTAGIS. The consultant will also develop data-analysis and reporting tools, dashboards or related applications, standard operating procedures, user training, and operational support for Seattle City Light, fisheries biologists, and hatchery staff. The contract is anticipated to operate through December 2030, with Years 1 and 2 initially contracted and Years 3 and 4 subject to amendments; the total estimated budget is $421,960, including $310,980 for Years 1 and 2. Up to three on-site meetings are anticipated during Years 1 and 2 at the facility in Usk, Washington, with one on-site meeting per year anticipated during Years 3 and 4.
