Description
The City of Edinburg Solid Waste Management Department is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced vendors to collect, transport, process, recycle, and dispose of used waste oil, oil filters, lubricants, antifreeze, contaminated oil, and lead-acid batteries. The contractor must comply with applicable state and local requirements, including EPA and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations, and provide required registrations, licenses, insurance documentation, manifests, and annual reporting. The contractor must provide containment pallets or containers for lead-acid batteries and waste oil, antifreeze, and filter disposal containers at designated City facilities. Regular scheduled pickups and on-call pickups within 24 hours are required. Bidders will submit per-gallon pricing, indicating whether they will pay the City or charge the City for each service item. The contract may be awarded by individual item or in combination and will run from award through September 30, 2027.
