Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for five-days-per-week janitorial services at its Moorpark Area Office. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies, and related costs. The scope includes carpet vacuuming and cleaning, tile and vinyl floor maintenance, trash removal, dusting, wall and window cleaning, furniture and surface cleaning, breakroom and janitor-room cleaning, parking-lot and sidewalk cleanup, and extensive restroom cleaning and sanitation. The anticipated agreement term is June 1, 2027, through May 31, 2028, with one one-year option to extend. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest bid. A mandatory walk-through is required, and bidders must meet California registration, licensing, and participation requirements, including a minimum 5% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation commitment. The successful contractor must also satisfy specified security-screening, insurance, fidelity-bond, and employee-wage and benefit requirements. Addendum 1 changes the bid due date to December 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. and requires a complete copy of the addendum to be included with the bid.
