Description
The Municipality of Anchorage is soliciting a lump-sum bid for selective demolition and replacement of interior corridor carpeting at the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center. The work covers the first-floor mezzanine, second floor, and third floor, including removal and disposal of existing carpet and underlayment, slab preparation, installation of broadloom carpet and carpet tile, walk-off entry carpet tile, resilient base repairs where affected, and ADA-compliant transition strips. The specifications identify Shaw Contract products or approved comparable products, require field verification of quantities, a final seaming diagram for approval before installation, protection of occupied areas and building operations, and coordination with the facility operator. The estimated construction cost is $150,000 to $300,000. A valid Alaska contractor's license is required. The bid package requires a bid proposal and bid guarantee at submission; contractor qualification, licensing, insurance, and other responsibility documents are required after bid opening or upon award as specified.
