Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting full-service waste disposal services for the Alaska VA Healthcare System at the Muldoon Clinic and Domiciliary in Anchorage. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, management, supplies, vehicles, dumpsters, and ancillary equipment required for collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal. The scope includes a wildlife-resistant 40-cubic-yard solid-waste dumpster at the Muldoon Clinic with twice-weekly pickups, an 8-cubic-yard paper and cardboard recycling dumpster with weekly pickup, and two 4-cubic-yard solid-waste dumpsters at the Domiciliary with three pickups per week each. Waste must be categorized and disposed of at landfills or designated disposal sites complying with Alaska environmental regulations. Services must be performed during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while minimizing interference with hospital operations. Quotes must include an executed SF 1449, pricing, a technical approach, and past-performance information for comparable contracts completed or ongoing within the past five years.
