Description
The contractor shall provide comprehensive mortuary services for deceased Air Force military personnel, including all required facilities, equipment, licensed professional personnel, motor vehicles, supplies, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, and transportation. Services include preparation and processing of viewable and non-viewable remains, embalming, restorative art, dressing or wrapping, casketing, hygienic practices, cremation, inurnment, and delivery to common carriers, cemeteries, funeral homes, or other designated locations. The agreement has a five-year ordering period from September 21, 2026, through September 20, 2031, with a maximum single-call limit of $25,000 and a maximum BPA ceiling of $249,000. The contractor must provide a brief technical capability statement, a completed pricing schedule for 14 line items, company and registration information, current Alaska professional licenses for the funeral establishment, funeral director/manager, and at least one licensed embalmer, and confirmation of Governmentwide Commercial Purchase Card acceptance. The apparent successful offeror will undergo a pre-award facility, vehicle, and equipment survey, and services must comply with the Performance Work Statement and applicable wage determination.
