Description
This Design-Bid-Build construction project involves repairs to the failed stormwater and sanitary sewer systems at the Miotto Military Installation to achieve environmental compliance and prevent future flood damage. The scope of work includes repairing, extending, and upsizing the stormwater system piping, remediating site conditions from storm events, and separating cross-connected sanitary and storm lines. The project also includes constructing a new direct connection to the Bisatto River, installing a stormwater lamination tank beneath a municipal sports field, restoring the field with a synthetic turf surface, and integrating naturalistic design features. Options include asbestos pipe removals, sports field reinstallation, landslide area repairs, and sedimentation pond installation.
