Description
The Town of Rayville is soliciting bids for construction services related to water and wastewater improvements. This specific contract, Contract 2A, focuses on drilling water well test holes along LA Highway 583. Bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the office of the Engineer, Meyer, Meyer, LaCroix & Hixson, Inc., located at 100 Engineer Place, Alexandria, Louisiana 71303. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that location. Bidding documents can be obtained from the Engineer's office for a non-refundable fee of $40.00 per copy. Prime bidders must obtain these documents directly from the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 5 percent of the bidder's maximum bid price, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. All bonds must be executed by sureties listed in U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 45 days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
