Description
The Town of Pembroke, located in Genesee County, New York, is soliciting bids for the construction of Water District No. 4. This project involves the installation of approximately 98,920 linear feet of 6 and 8-inch diameter water main, along with associated appurtenances. The work will cover various roads including Alleghany Road (NYS Route 77), Airville Road, Akron Road, Evergreen Drive, Fuller Road, Gabbey Road, Gilmore Road, Hopkins Road, Indian Falls Road, Knapp Road, Little Falls Road, Marble Road, Meiser Road, North Pembroke Road, Ogden Street, Phelps Road, Remsen Road, Short Street, Sliker Road, Waddington Street, and Wyman Road. Bids will be accepted for two separate contracts: Contract A, covering the area west of Route 77 and south of Tonawanda Creek (approximately 51,060 LF), and Contract B, covering the area east of Route 77 and north of Tonawanda Creek (approximately 47,860 LF). Bidders have the option to bid on one or both contracts, and separate bonds will be required for each contract if awarded to the same contractor. This project is partially funded by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYS EFC) through a Water Infrastructure Improvement Act (WIIA) Grant, and is subject to regulations from the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development (USDA RD). Additionally, the project must comply with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, with specific waivers noted. Bidders must also adhere to Executive Order Nos. 11,246 and 11,375, and meet all state and federal standards. A non-collusive bidding certificate is required, and successful bidders must provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds.
