Description
The City of El Paso is seeking one contractor to provide fire systems inspections, parts, repairs, and related labor on an as-needed basis, primarily for the Streets and Maintenance Department. The solicitation is divided into groups covering fire backflow inspection and repair, fire alarm panels, fire sprinkler and clean-agent systems, fire hydrants, and hood suppression systems. The listed assets include approximately 100 backflow devices, 38 fire alarm panels, 50 sprinkler systems, six clean-agent systems, 25 hydrants, and municipal facilities throughout El Paso. Bidders must provide unit prices and regular, emergency, after-hours, holiday, and weekend labor rates for all items within each group they bid. Repairs or replacements require prior proposal, approval, and authorization from the Streets and Maintenance Facilities Division. The estimated annual budget is $425,050, and the contract may be extended for two additional years at the same unit prices if the option is exercised.
