Description
The New York State Department of Economic Development’s Division of Tourism seeks a contractor to represent New York State in the Canadian travel market for up to five years. Services include travel-trade representation, trade shows and sales missions, tour-operator partnerships, consumer advertising, public relations, media outreach, strategic counsel, market research, account management, and operational support. The contractor must demonstrate Canadian tourism-industry knowledge, at least five years of experience with Canadian travel trade and press, consumer-marketing and destination-marketing experience, qualified project staff, a physical presence in London, and three relevant client reference letters. Required deliverables include annual marketing plans, monthly activity and financial reports, partnership and consumer-project reports, and other performance metrics. The annual budget may not exceed $250,000, and the proposal must use the provided five-year budget form.
