Description
The New York State Department of Economic Development, through its Division of Tourism and I LOVE NY brand, seeks a contractor to represent New York State in Germany for up to five years. The scope includes travel-trade representation, trade shows, sales missions, tour-operator familiarization tours, trade-media public relations, consumer advertising and earned media, partner marketing promotions, strategic counsel on the German travel market, itinerary and travel-product development, media and trade-partner relationship management, market research, and operational support. The contractor must demonstrate knowledge of the German tourism industry, at least five years of experience working with the German travel trade and press, consumer-marketing and destination-marketing experience, qualified assigned staff, a physical presence in Germany, three relevant reference letters, and sufficient resources to advance expenses before reimbursement. Proposals must include a technical and resource approach, performance metrics, resumes, references, required certifications and disclosures, and the completed Appendix B budget for all five years. The annual budget may not exceed $250,000; Appendix B must be submitted separately from the rest of the proposal.
