Description
The City of Overland Park is seeking a single collaborative partner or multiple partners to provide convention and tourism promotion and destination marketing services. The scope may include brand marketing and destination promotion; group and convention sales and support; sports tourism event attraction and support; visitor-spending generation; transient guest tax revenue forecasting and monitoring; strategic development and community-building activities; industry expertise; and regular reporting, annual plans, presentations, accounting, and regulatory compliance. Proposals may address all core functions or focus on one or two of the specified marketing, convention, or sports-tourism categories while still addressing the required operational, strategic, reporting, and compliance functions. Respondents must demonstrate at least 10 years of successful comparable experience for each specific scope component addressed. The proposal must include a cover letter, executive summary, scope-of-services description, qualifications and experience, costs, organization/entity information, and references, with the required organization and reference information completed using the provided exhibits. Proposals must be submitted as PDF files; hard copies are not accepted.
