Description
The Nebraska Military Department is soliciting a service contractor to provide an Emergency Management Program Coordinator for the Nebraska Army National Guard. The coordinator will advise leadership and manage emergency management planning, preparedness, response, recovery, continuity operations, compliance, risk assessments, training, exercises, reporting, and program improvement across Nebraska Army National Guard installations, facilities, units, and activities. The scope includes developing and maintaining emergency operations, all-hazards, continuity of operations, and hazard-specific plans; coordinating with local, state, tribal, federal, military, and law-enforcement partners; supporting emergency operations and incident response; conducting training, exercises, assessments, after-action reviews, and corrective-action planning; maintaining compliance documentation and readiness reports; and serving as an emergency management liaison. The position is primarily based at the Nebraska Army National Guard Joint Force Headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska, with work potentially occurring at locations statewide. The contract is for one year with four additional one-year renewal options. A bachelor's degree is preferred, while relevant emergency management or military operational experience, required training, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation and security clearance are specified.
