Description
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is soliciting proposals for emergency standby disaster recovery mitigation and remediation services for facilities damaged by specified disaster events. The awarded contractor must provide all required labor, equipment, and materials, including removal and off-site disposal of affected porous materials and debris, water extraction, interior drying and dehumidification, temporary roofing, air conditioning, generators and fuel support, dry storage, and measures to address safety hazards and hazardous materials. Proposers must demonstrate relevant disaster recovery experience, including experience with FEMA Public Assistance programs, qualified staffing, emergency response and deployment capabilities, equipment and material availability, compliance processes, and at least three current and three past client references. The proposal package includes a cover page, cover letter, qualifications and experience, technical approach, completed pricing form, administrative information, proof of liability insurance, and specified affidavits and disclosure forms. The initial contract term is two years with three one-year renewal options.
