Description
Contra Costa County's Black Infant Health Program is seeking a community organization to provide child watch services for children attending participants' prenatal and postpartum health education group sessions. Services will support the East County site at 355 E. Leland Road, Pittsburg, California, and may support group sessions in East, Central, and West Contra Costa County. The requirement is for up to 15 hours per week, with one part-time childcare worker per group session. Personnel must meet applicable childcare licensing qualifications, pass background checks and references, and demonstrate knowledge of early childhood development through experience and related certifications. The solicitation provides an annual award amount of $50,000 and a total award of $150,000 for a three-year contract period covering July 2026 through June 2029. Applicants must be community-based organizations, hospitals, or public agency service providers based in Contra Costa County and must demonstrate fiscal and operational capacity. The proposal must include a signed Funding Application Cover Sheet, an agency capability narrative, a line-item Excel budget with justifications, a service continuity plan, and applicable supporting documentation such as tax-exempt status, funded-position job descriptions, staff qualifications, relevant contract history, board and organizational information, the current operating budget, and audited financial statements.
