Description
The Cochrane District Services Board is seeking proposals from a single legal not-for-profit organization to create, establish, and operate licensed childcare spaces in Matheson, Ontario. The provider must operate in accordance with Ontario's Child Care and Early Years Act and participate in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system. The scope includes delivering affordable, accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive early learning services; supporting Anglophone, Francophone, Indigenous, and diverse communities; collaborating on services for children with special needs and developmental delays; maintaining eligibility for the Board's Child Care Fee Subsidy program; and developing staffing, recruitment, operational, and service delivery plans. The provider must hold or be prepared to obtain all required childcare licensing approvals and comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and licensing requirements. The successful provider will negotiate a one-year service agreement.
