NASA's Shared Services Center has a sole-source special notice for one copper (Cu), one cobalt (Co), and one molybdenum (Mo) x-ray tube compatible with the Empyrean DY1757. The notice is seeking written capability statements and qualifications to determine whether the requirement should be competed; price quotes alone will not be considered. The vendor must provide a 24-month after-installation warranty for the Cu and Co tubes and a 12-month after-installation warranty for the Mo tube. The estimated delivery lead time is approximately four to six weeks.
