Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through VISN 02 Network Contracting Office 2, intends to pursue a noncompetitive, sole-source purchase from Beckman Coulter for a Bruker MALDI Biotyper Sirius CA system for the Albany VA Medical Center. The notice identifies Beckman Coulter as the only responsible source and states that the anticipated procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 16. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for formal proposals, quotes, technical proposals, or cost proposals. Responses will be treated as information only, oral communications are not acceptable, and the Government retains discretion not to compete the requirement.
