Description
The Ashe County Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids for roof replacement at Ashe Early Learning Center. Bids must be submitted on standard forms furnished by the project engineer, Terracon Consultants, Inc., and contractors must be properly licensed under North Carolina law. A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled at the project site. Complete plans and specifications are available from Terracon Consultants, Inc.; electronic copies are free, while a $250 plan deposit is required per paper set. Each bid must include a bid deposit of at least five percent of the proposal amount, which may be provided as cash, an eligible check, or a bid bond. The Board reserves the right to reject bids, waive formalities, and award to a bidder other than the lowest bidder when permitted by law.
