Description
Clark County Public Works is soliciting proposals for a single, as-needed professional services contract supporting county bridge and structure programs. Required capabilities include structural analysis and design; evaluation of bridge, culvert, retaining wall, and other structure replacement, strengthening, scour mitigation, and seismic upgrade needs; bridge and culvert inspection, including specialty access and emergency inspections; load-rating analysis; scour evaluation and countermeasure design using HEC-18 and HEC-23; hydraulic analysis; concept plans and cost estimates; and grant application preparation. The selected firm must have a nationally certified bridge inspector on staff and identify that individual and their qualifications in the proposal. Work will be assigned through written task assignments, with no guaranteed expenditure. The solicitation is qualifications-based, and cost or pricing should not be submitted with the proposal. Proposals are limited to four pages, excluding resumes, the cover sheet, and the debarment form.
