Description
Clark Public Utilities is soliciting bids from currently prequalified contractors for a three-year unit-price contract covering maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, removal, and installation of approximately 63,000 roadway and residential lighting fixtures, lighting poles, leased lighting, overhead and underground secondary/service conductors, and associated electrical equipment throughout Clark County, Washington. Work includes LED conversions, luminaire and mast-arm installation, pole work, underground conductor repair and trenching, boring, tagging, traffic control, site restoration, and related electrical services performed in accordance with the National Electrical Safety Code, Clark Public Utilities standards, and applicable regulations. The contractor must provide labor, qualified personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, and incidental materials; complete ordinary work orders within five working days and subcontracted work within ten working days; and use owner-furnished lighting materials where specified. The contract has estimated three-year quantities and unit prices for 24 task items. Only contractors prequalified by Clark Public Utilities for electrical-facility construction or improvement may bid. A five-percent bid guaranty is required, and the successful contractor must provide payment and performance bonds, insurance, and other post-award documentation.
