INVITATION TO BID ITB #26-34: NE 72ND AVENUE SEWER IMPROVEMENTS Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Local Time, September 22, 2026 and will publicly open and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Vancouver City Hall, 415 W 6th St, Vancouver, Washington, for the following: This Contract provides for the removal and disposal of approximately 1,621 linear feet of 8-inch concrete gravity sewer main and eleven 48-inch diameter concrete manholes. The Contractor shall furnish and install approximately 1,621 linear feet of 10-inch PVC gravity sewer main, eight 48-inch diameter concrete manholes, and two 60-inch diameter concrete manholes and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The Contract Work shall be Physically Complete within 45 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities. The City of Vancouver is soliciting sealed bids for sewer improvements on NE 72nd Avenue. The work includes removing and disposing of approximately 1,621 linear feet of 8-inch concrete gravity sewer main and eleven 48-inch-diameter concrete manholes, then furnishing and installing approximately 1,621 linear feet of 10-inch PVC gravity sewer main, eight 48-inch-diameter concrete manholes, two 60-inch-diameter concrete manholes, and related work in accordance with the contract plans, provisions, and standard specifications. The contract work must be physically complete within 45 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The engineer's estimate is $1,520,000. No bid bond is required, and no pre-bid conference is identified. Washington-certified Minority, Disadvantaged, and Women's Business Enterprises will be afforded equal opportunity to participate.
