The New York State Department of Transportation seeks pricing for 3/4-inch-minus crusher run aggregates to support seven vendor-placed paving projects in St. Lawrence County. The requested quantities total up to 9,865 tons across seven lots, although NYSDOT may purchase all or only part of the requested quantities based on available budget. NYSDOT will pick up the materials, and vendors must be within 25 miles of each project location; expected pickup lead time is two weeks after receipt of an order. Bidders must submit pricing for all requested quantities using the Cost Proposal Worksheet and return the completed and signed RFQ proposal in its entirety. The solicitation requires applicable certifications and supporting documentation, including the Procurement Lobbying Act certification, Executive Order 16 and Executive Order 177 certifications, manufacturer's certification, NYS sales and use tax forms, workers' compensation and disability-benefits coverage proof, and insurance proof when applicable. Award will be based on the lowest grand total by individual lot among responsive and responsible qualified bidders. This is a one-time purchase for each project, and bids must remain firm for at least 90 days.
