Description
Burlington Electric Department is soliciting quotations for one 750 kVA, three-phase, 60 Hz, mineral-oil-immersed, self-cooled, 65degC-rise, compartmental-type, dead-front, loop-feed padmounted distribution transformer. The specified unit has a 13.8 kV-class primary, 277/480 V secondary, 5.32%-6.18% impedance, full-capacity primary taps, six 200-amp universal bushing wells, BAY-O-NET and backup current-limiting fuses, and required accessories including an oil-level gauge, thermometer, pressure-relief device, drain valve, sampler, and grounding provisions. The transformer must fit the utility's standard concrete pad, weigh less than 8,950 pounds, be PCB-free, and meet the stated ANSI/IEEE and related industry standards. The quotation must include an outline drawing with dimensions and a one-line diagram, impedance and loss data, corrosion-protection information, warranty information, manufacturer service-shop information, delivery timing, unit cost, and any exceptions. Certified test reports by serial number are required before shipment and must also be emailed at shipment; final drawings are required after purchase order placement. Delivery is required no later than October 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. Responses must be uploaded through the utility's secure website using a unique login; Word, Excel, or PDF submissions are accepted, and faxed, emailed, and mailed bids are not accepted.
