Description
Burlington Electric Department is soliciting a proposal for one 750 kVA, three-phase, 60 Hz, mineral-oil-immersed, self-cooled, 65°C-rise, compartmental-type, dead-front, loop-feed padmounted distribution transformer. The requested unit has a 13,800 grounded-wye/7,970 V primary rating, 277/480 V secondary rating, 5.32%–6.18% specified impedance, and must fit a Burlington Electric Department 1622 concrete transformer pad. The specification includes required construction, electrical compartments, bushings, fuses, taps, switches if specified, accessories, corrosion-resistant coating, PCB-free certification, and applicable ANSI/IEEE compliance. The proposal must include an outline drawing with dimensions and a one-line diagram, impedance and loss data, corrosion-protection information, warranty information, manufacturer service-shop information, delivery timing, unit pricing, freight information, and any exceptions. Certified test reports are required before shipment and must also be emailed at shipment; final drawings are required after purchase order placement. Responses must be uploaded through the utility’s secure website using a unique login, and the utility will accept Word, Excel, or PDF submissions. The solicitation states that missing required information may cause the proposal to be deemed invalid.
