Description
Employment and Social Development Canada, including Service Canada, is seeking one vendor to provide on-demand moving, dismantling, installation, packing, palletizing, crating, transportation, assembly, waste removal, recycling, and related relocation services for office furniture and equipment. The requirement includes primarily Teknion and Haworth workstations, with possible work involving CORCAN, Precision, Steelcase, Global, and collaborative furniture. The contractor must support simultaneous large projects, provide qualified bilingual personnel, vehicles, tools, lifting equipment, packing materials, and related resources. The contractor must also provide dedicated, secure, climate-controlled warehouse space in the National Capital Region, within 30 km of ESDC headquarters in Gatineau, with capacity for up to 100,000 cubic feet. Warehousing includes sorting, racking, handling, computerized inventory management, monthly movement reports, and additional digital reports. The contract is for one year from award, with options for up to two additional one-year periods. The procurement is conditionally set aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business; if two or more eligible Indigenous businesses bid, only those bids will be evaluated. Organization-level Designated Organization Screening and Reliability Status for personnel accessing sensitive sites are required.
