Description
Fulton County Government is soliciting proposals for independent automobile physical damage appraisal services. The selected contractor will inspect damaged County and claimant vehicles; prepare written repair cost estimates, photographs, and valuations; review body-shop estimates for parts, labor, repair-versus-replace decisions, aftermarket and like-kind replacement parts; and resolve supplements with body-shop personnel. Services also include total-loss appraisals with at least three salvage bids, actual-cash-value, market-value, and salvage-value determinations, salvage-disposal assistance, desk reviews of lower-severity losses, post-repair inspections, documentation of discrepancies, and transmittal or summary reports. The appraiser must generally inspect assigned vehicles and review estimates within 48 hours, deliver completed reports within three business days, and maintain supporting records. The proposal must address the technical approach, project team, qualifications, relevant experience, availability, financial information, required purchasing and compliance forms, insurance evidence, and cost proposal.
